TWO SEASONS. ONE EXPEDITION.
The best time to visit Bolivia depends on the experience you are looking for. For our expedition, the two seasons differ mainly in the section around the Salar de Uyuni. During the rainy season, water covers the Salar and creates the famous mirror effect.
January to March (Rainy Season)
Water on the Salar creates the iconic mirror effect. The landscape is greener and the atmosphere is constantly changing. As parts of the Salar are covered with water, the route requires a little more flexibility during this period.
April to December (Dry Season):
The Salar is dry and fully accessible by 4×4. Road conditions are generally more stable, and clear skies create ideal conditions for stargazing.
CLEAR COST STRUCTURE. ALL-INCLUSIVE.
At BO-EX, everything that is part of the expedition is included in one fixed price. From the beginning to the end of the expedition, we take care of the entire organisation and logistics for you. You do not have to calculate, compare or worry about hidden costs. The only things not included are your flights, insurance and individual requests.
